Shadow Work for Feeling Unworthy of Love
This blog is from my weekly series ‘Shadow Confessions’ of anonymous disclosures revealing others' deepest secrets & hidden feelings.
Within this offering, you will see yourself in others, learn how to acknowledge your shadow & receive practical tips so your shadow no longer handicaps your potential.
Triggered Feeling:
Feeling unworthy & apprehensive about accepting love.
Acknowledge Your Shadow:
Love invites healing. If you are immersed in love and ready to grow it will show you more of yourself.
If you're unprepared to care for love you might be experiencing:
Resistance to being vulnerable
Being unhappy with yourself
Fear of commitment
Guilty for being loved
What makes love work is self-awareness. Heartbreak and endings will always point to how valuable self-love really is. When self-love is missing, it will affect all connections negatively.
Explore what shadows keep you from manifesting your ideal partner and level up your self-worth to magnetize your match here .
Steps to Integrate:
To avoid hurting new connections you have to accept your shadow of unworthiness. Answer the following questions in your journal:
How has a lack of self-love affected your relationships in the past?
When and where did you decide you weren't worthy of love?
What does self-love look like for you right now?
What do you want your self-love routine to look like a month from now?
Where you currently are, is this a critical part of your story?
Some mantras to help reprogram thoughts & feelings of unworthiness:
“I am a perfect work in progress and am a magnet for all I desire.”
“I deserve all that is coming my way.”
“I am inspired to share all of the grace that I receive.”
Until next week,
Jordan
